Spring has arrived, dandelions are coming out and small buds on the trees are now clearly visible and the bird song in this little wildlife sanctuary that is also Hanne’s Cottage is extraordinary. As the sun sets, the subtle hooting of the long eared owl couple is taking over the night.

The morning light coming through the windows at Hanne’s Cottage, it is hard to beat.
Morning coffee with the fluffy boss host aka Her Ladyship in front of the fire and the light coming through the windows illuminating the Hearth of the House is hard to put into words how beautiful it is. It’s a feeling of sanctuary and peace and it is beauty for the eye.

This beautiful room, the Hearth of the house, is included in your booking, shared with me, the fluffy boss host, and potential other guest(s).

This is just the indoors. As you step outside, you’re surrounded by the unique and poetic Burren Mountains, the Burren Way walking trails, 7 min by car to Fanore Beach and the Wild Atlantic Way and a wildlife sanctuary and garden to sit with your coffee and book, if weather permits.

In contrast to most accommodation whose minmum stays are 2 nights, you have the option to book 1 night stays at Hanne’s Cottage, for an additional cleaning fee.
