Gentle With Nature

It’s been a beautiful and quiet sunny day in the Caher Valley in the Burren and I created something I’ve wanted to do for a long time! Making an ‘ARK’ sign (Act of Restorative Kindness towards Earth) And yes, I only had two colours 🙂

Inspired by Mary Reynolds and her tireless, passionate and important voice for nature.

My little acre of land here is wild. But far from wild enough and I am constantly working on learning and improving it for wildlife, for nature, embracing the beautiful life-giving and life-sustaining ‘mess’ that is so wrongly and devastatingly called weed.

‘Weed is ESSENTIAL food and shelter for pollinators and moving up the food chain to birds and bats and so on and so on.

Wildlife needs their habitat far more than we need pretty gardens and neat lawns and sprayed dead yellow grass (and dead wildflowers and dead pollinators) in the name of ‘tidy’.

It costs nothing to be kind to nature. In fact, it costs much less, money wise and time wise and the feedback you will be getting is enormous.

Be gentle with nature 🍃

Please check out my facebook or instagram account for more photos of this beautiful feedback nature supplies when you allow it to live and breathe and give it shelter and home.
